In anticipation of May 15th

Hey everybody!

In anticipation of May 15th, we will be putting up one of our new songs on facebook and myspace. The song "Try" will hit the site May 1st, so be sure to come back and check it out.

If you haven't heard, we have our first national opening at Club 3 Degrees on May 15th. We will be opening up for Decemberadio and Sevenglory and we would love to share this with the people have made it possible - you.

Hope all is well in your world. Take care until next time.

The Bitter and the Sweet

Hi everybody!

Since I last blogged several things have happened.

First, [boiling point] played in Round 3 of the Club 3 Degrees band tournament in Burnsville, MN at Destiny Christian Center. Unfortunately, we fell just a point or two from reaching at least the "wild card" round -- this is the bitter.

We aren't totally put out, however, because we feel as though we have really grown as a band this year and much of that is owed to the tournament for pushing us to be more creative in both our music and how we put together a show.

On the sweeter side -- [boiling point] has been offered by Club 3 Degrees our first opportunity to open for a national act. That's right, on May 15th, [boiling point] will open for two national bands -- Decemberadio (www.myspace.com/decemberadio) & Sevenglory (www.myspace.com/sevenglory). We are really excited for this oppertunity and we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible as we start doing some bigger shows.

Tickets are $11 and we will be pre-selling about 50 ourselves. If you would like to come out to Club 3 Degrees to see us take the next step, please feel free to contact me (Eric) at: boilingpointband@gmail.com.

On a side note (but not a side thought), we would like to thank all of you who came out to support us as we played the tournement. Much of our success was made possible by your support and willingness to come out to Club 3 Degrees in Minneapolis, Living Word in Brooklyn Park, and Destiny Christian Center in Burnsville. I don't think we can possibly say this enough, but "Thank you."

All our best to you and yours.
